§ 33-37-1-2 — "Clerk"
As used in this article, "clerk" refers to any of the following:
(1)A clerk of a circuit court under IC 33-32-2-1.
(2)The clerk of a city or town court under IC 33-35.
(3)The judge of a city or town court that does not have a clerk.
