Text

An individual appointed to the supreme court, the court of appeals, or the tax court by the governor shall commence the duties of the individual's office immediately upon the effective date of the appointment. An appointment to a judicial office does not take effect until a vacancy for the office exists. [Pre-2004 Recodification Citation: 33-2.1-4-11.]
