Text

A member of the judicial nominating commission may serve until the member's successor is appointed or elected. An attorney commissioner or a nonattorney commissioner is not eligible for successive reelection or reappointment. However, an attorney commissioner or a nonattorney commissioner who has been appointed or elected to fill a vacancy on the commission for less than one (1) year is eligible upon the expiration of that term, if otherwise qualified, for a succeeding term.
