Text
(a)For purposes of electing attorney members
to the judicial nominating commission, the state shall be divided into
three (3) districts, corresponding to the First District, the Second
District, and the Third District of the court of appeals.
(b)The qualified electors consist of the individuals who are
registered with the clerk of the supreme court as attorneys in good
standing under the requirements of the supreme court.
(c)The electors of each district shall elect one (1) resident of their
district who is admitted to the practice of law in Indiana to the judicial
nominating commission. The term of office of each elected member is
three (3) years, beginning on the first day of January following the
