Text

When the supreme court or a majority of the justices of the supreme court consider it necessary to have all or part of the records of the court transcribed to protect those records from mutilation or decay arising from any cause, the court or justices shall order the clerk of the supreme court to transcribe the records in suitable books to be procured by the clerk for that purpose. The court shall make a reasonable allowance for the transcription to the clerk in an amount that the court considers just and proper. The allowance, when certified by a justice of the court, shall be audited by the state comptroller and paid as similar allowances in other cases. [Pre-2004 Recodification Citation: 33-15-2-1.]
