§ 33-23-16-4 — "Domestic violence court"

Indiana·Art. 23 GENERAL PROVISIONS·Ch. 16 Problem Solving Courts

As used in this chapter, "domestic violence court" means a problem solving court focused on the safety of the victim and the defendant's accountability by:

(1)bringing together criminal justice professionals, local social programs, and intensive judicial monitoring;
(2)linking victims to programs and services; and
(3)linking eligible defendants and juveniles to programs and services.
