§ 33-23-11-3 — "Compensation"

As used in this chapter, "compensation" means any money, thing of value, or economic benefit conferred on or received by any person in return for services rendered or for services to be rendered, whether by that person or another. [Pre-2004 Recodification Citation: 33-2.1-8-1.]
