§ 31-9-2-87 — "Omission"
Indiana·Art. 9 DEFINITIONS
"Omission", for purposes of IC 31-34-1-2,
means an occurrence in which the parent, guardian, or custodian
allowed the child of the parent, guardian, or custodian to receive an
injury that the parent, guardian, or custodian had a reasonable
opportunity to prevent or mitigate.
