§ 31-41-2-1 — Juvenile court dual status child determination
After a juvenile court has determined that a child is a dual status child, the juvenile court may refer the child to be assessed by a dual status assessment team after:
(1)considering the reports provided pursuant to IC 31-34-7-2 or
IC 31-37-8-5; or
(2)making a determination pursuant to IC 31-34-10-2(e) or IC 31-37-12-2(e).
However, all children identified as a dual status child under IC 31-41-1-2(1) through IC 31-41-1-2(3), or IC 31-41-1-2(6), shall be
referred to the dual status assessment team.
