After the preliminary inquiry and upon approval by the juvenile court, the intake officer may implement a program of informal adjustment if the officer has probable cause to believe that the child is a delinquent child. Results of a risk screening tool shall be used to inform recommendations for the use of informal adjustment. [Pre-1997 Recodification Citation: 31-6-4-12(a) part.]
