§ 31-37-6-5 — Notice of legal rights; appointment of counsel
The juvenile court:
(1)shall inform the child and the child's parent, guardian, or
custodian of the child's right to counsel and to refrain from
testifying against himself or herself; and
(2)may appoint counsel under IC 31-32-4.
