§ 31-37-11-11 — Competency; time for factfinding hearing

Indiana·Art. 37 JUVENILE LAW: DELINQUENCY·Ch. 11 Time Limits for Petitions; Motions for Continuance
If a child is found to be competent after a competency evaluation is ordered, the factfinding hearing must be commenced within the period specified by section 2 of this chapter. The date the petition is considered to be filed is the date when the child is found to be competent.
