§ 31-37-11-11 — Competency; time for factfinding hearing
If a child is found to be competent after a
competency evaluation is ordered, the factfinding hearing must be
commenced within the period specified by section 2 of this chapter.
The date the petition is considered to be filed is the date when the child
is found to be competent.
