Text
If the department expunges child abuse or neglect information under this chapter:
(1)at the request of a perpetrator named in an assessment report;
(2)at or after the time for expungement specified in section 4(a)
of this chapter; or
(3)under a court order under section 5 of this chapter;
IC 31-39-8-7 applies to any civil action brought against the department
or any other agency, entity, or individual, if the content of the expunged
information may be relevant to any issue in the civil action.
