Text
(a)A person who:
(1)is required to report cases of known or suspected child abuse
or neglect; and
(2)is also a health care provider or a person in charge of a
hospital or similar medical institution treating the child;
shall cause photographs to be taken of the areas of trauma visible on
the child who is the subject of a report.
(b)If medically indicated, a physician may cause a radiological
examination or a physical medical examination, or both, of the child to
be performed.
