§ 31-28-3-2 — Medical records

Indiana·Art. 28 CHILD SERVICES: FOSTER CARE AND·Ch. 3 Maintenance of Medical Records for Children Receiving

The department shall maintain medical records for children who receive foster care. The department shall do the following:

(1)Maintain a record of medical care provided to a foster child.
(2)Facilitate a provider in providing appropriate care to a foster child.
(3)Allow foster parents to authorize routine and emergency medical care to a foster child.
