§ 31-25-2-28 — Transfer of administration of child support bureau to department of state revenue; federal review; report
Indiana·Art. 25 CHILD SERVICES: ADMINISTRATION·Ch. 2 General Duties of the Department of Child Services
(a)Subject to federal approval, the
department may enter into a written agreement with the department of
state revenue to transfer the administration of the child support bureau
established by IC 31-25-3 and all related duties to the department of
state revenue.
(b)If the department receives federal approval and enters into a
written agreement with the department of state revenue under
subsection (a), the department shall submit a report detailing the
agreement to the budget committee within thirty (30) days of entering
into the agreement.
