§ 31-25-2-23 — Permanency roundtable duties; residential placement committee

Indiana·Art. 25 CHILD SERVICES: ADMINISTRATION·Ch. 2 General Duties of the Department of Child Services
(a)The department shall establish a permanency roundtable (as defined in IC 31-9-2-88.7). The permanency roundtable shall review:
(1)a child's permanency plan under IC 31-34-21-5.7 if the child is placed in a child caring institution, group home, or private secure facility; and
(2)a child's permanency plan under IC 31-37-20-3 if the child is placed in a child caring institution, group home, or private secure facility; and make recommendations to the court.
(b)The department shall establish a residential placement committee (as defined in IC 31-9-2-109.5). The residential placement committee shall, before a case plan is approved by the local office or court, review:
(1)a child's placement in a child caring institution, group home, or private secure facility under IC 31-34-15-2; and
