§ 31-25-1-1 — Department established; director
(a)The department of child services is
established.
(b)The governor shall appoint a director who is responsible for
administering the department of child services. The director:
(1)serves at the governor's pleasure; and
(2)is entitled to compensation set by the budget agency.
