§ 31-21-2-20 — "Tribe"

Indiana·Art. 21 UNIFORM CHILD CUSTODY JURISDICTION·Ch. 2 Definitions

"Tribe" means an Indian tribe or band or Alaskan Native village that is:

(1)recognized by federal law; or
(2)formally acknowledged by a state.
