Text
(a)The Indiana department of health may
charge a reasonable fee for the state registrar's search for:
(1)further medical history information under section 2(a) of this
chapter; or
(2)death certificates in the Indiana death registration system,
including files sent through the STEVE system.
(b)Fees collected under this section shall be deposited in the
adoption history fund established by IC 31-19-18-6 and must be used
for the automation of adoption history information and death
certificates and for improved service delivery.
