Text

As soon as a petition for adoption is found to be in proper form, the clerk of the court shall forward one (1) copy of the petition for adoption to a licensed child placing agency as described in IC 31-9-2-17.5, with preference to be given to the agency, if any, sponsoring the adoption, as shown by the petition for adoption.
