§ 31-19-1-1 — Adoptions subject to Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children

Indiana·Art. 19 FAMILY LAW: ADOPTION·Ch. 1 Jurisdiction Over Adoption Proceedings
Except as provided in IC 31-28-4, the adoption of a child who is born in one (1) state by a person in another state is subject to the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children under IC 31-28-4. [1997 Recodification Citation: New.]
