§ 31-16-15-20 — Payments by clerk or state central collection unit to persons entitled to receive child support
(a)This subsection applies before January
1, 2007. The clerk of the court shall:
(1)pay the income forwarded by the income payor to the person
entitled to receive child support payments; and
(2)maintain records to monitor and document the receipt and
payment of income under this chapter.
(b)Beginning January 1, 2007, the clerk of the court, for cash
payments, and the state central collection unit, for noncash payments,
shall:
(1)pay the income forwarded by the income payor to the person
entitled to receive child support payments; and
(2)maintain records to monitor and document the receipt and
payment of income under this chapter.
