Text
(a)Any person or agency named in section 1
or 2 of this chapter is entitled to receive the child support payments
from the clerk of the circuit court or the person obligated to make the
payments. The payments shall be used solely for the benefit of the child
entitled to receive the payments.
(b)If the payment has been assigned to the state agency
administering Title IV-D of the federal Social Security Act (42 U.S.C.
651 through 669), the payments shall be disbursed in accordance with
federal regulations governing the Title IV-D program. The court may
allow the agency to receive a reasonable fee for services provided
under this chapter. The agency shall make financial reports in
connection with such services at the time and in the manner that is
prescribed by the court or required by law.
