§ 31-14-5-5 — Action to be filed during lifetime or within five months of death of alleged father

Indiana·Art. 14 FAMILY LAW: ESTABLISHMENT OF·Ch. 5 Filing of Paternity Action; Limitations

Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, an action must be filed:

(1)during the lifetime of the alleged father; or
(2)not later than five (5) months after his death. [Pre-1997 Recodification Citation: 31-6-6.1-6(d).]
