§ 31-14-19-1 — Full faith and credit to paternity determination by foreign jurisdiction

Indiana·Art. 14 FAMILY LAW: ESTABLISHMENT OF·Ch. 19 Paternity Determination by Foreign Jurisdiction

A court or Title IV-D agency shall give full faith and credit to a paternity determination made by another state or foreign jurisdiction regardless of whether the determination is made through:

(1)a voluntary acknowledgment; or
(2)a judicial or an administrative process. [Pre-1997 Recodification Citation: 31-6-6.1-20.]
