§ 31-14-17-1 — Expenses of mother's pregnancy and childbirth

Indiana·Art. 14 FAMILY LAW: ESTABLISHMENT OF·Ch. 17 Expenses of Childbirth

The court shall order the father to pay at least fifty percent (50%) of the reasonable expenses of the mother's pregnancy and childbirth, including the cost of:

(1)prenatal care;
(2)delivery;
(3)hospitalization;
(4)other necessary and reasonable expenses incurred in connection with the child's birth;
(5)postpartum expenses; and
(6)postnatal care. [Pre-1997 Recodification Citation: 31-6-6.1-17.]
