Text

(a)As used in this chapter, "actual direct compensatory damages" includes:
(1)normal and reasonable costs of cover; and
(2)other reasonable measures of damages used in the derivatives market, the securities market, or another market for contract claims.
(b)The term does not include:
(1)punitive or exemplary damages;
(2)damages for lost profit or lost opportunity; or
(3)damages for pain and suffering.
