(a)A member insurer and the member
insurer's agents and employees, the association and the association's
agents and employees, members of the board and representatives of the
members of the board, and the commissioner and the commissioner's
representatives are not liable for and no cause of action of any nature
arises or may be brought against them for or in connection with an
action or omission by any of them in the exercise and performance of
their rights, powers, and duties under this chapter.
(b)Immunity under this section extends to:
(1)the participation in an organization of one (1) or more other
state associations of similar purpose; and
(2)an organization described in subdivision (1) and an agent or
employee of the organization.
