This chapter while independent in its
enactment of any other statute, is nevertheless a supplement to IC 27-1
and shall be so considered and construed. Accordingly, all general
provisions of IC 27-1 shall be fully and completely applicable to the
sections of this chapter in the same manner as though such sections
were part of IC 27-1.
