Indiana Statutes
§ 27-8-28-8 — "Insured"
As used in this chapter, "insured" means:
(1)an individual whose employment status or other status except
family dependency is the basis for coverage under a group
accident and sickness insurance policy; or
(2)in the case of an individual accident and sickness insurance
policy, the individual in whose name the policy is issued.
