§ 27-7-9-13 — Nature of claims

Mine subsidence insurance claims made under this chapter do not constitute a debt, liability, or obligation of the state or a pledge of faith and credit of the state, except to the extent that the mine subsidence insurance fund has accumulated reserves from premiums, state or federal grants, investment income, or state appropriations.
