2.

(a)The commissioner may examine any company, the bureau, or the assigned risk plan as the commissioner considers necessary to ascertain compliance with this chapter.
(b)Every company, the bureau, and the assigned risk plan shall maintain reasonable records of the type and kind reasonably adapted to its method of operation containing its experiences or the experience of its staff members including the data, statistics, or information collected or used by it in its activities. These records shall be available at all reasonable times to enable the commissioner to determine whether the activities of the bureau, company, and the assigned risk plan comply with this chapter.
