Text
(a)As used in this chapter, "third party"
means a person that enters into a contract with a contracting entity or
another third party to gain access to:
(1)a provider network contract;
(2)dental services provided pursuant to a provider network
contract; or
(3)contractual discounts provided pursuant to a provider network
contract.
(b)The term does not include an employer or another group or
entity for which the contracting entity provides administrative services.
