§ 27-2-27-10 — "Licensee"

(a)As used in this chapter, "licensee" means a person that is:
(1)licensed, authorized to operate, or registered; or
(2)required to be licensed, authorized to operate, or registered; under this title and the rules adopted under this title.
(b)The term does not include any of the following:
(1)A purchasing group or risk retention group that is chartered and licensed in another state.
(2)A person that is:
(A)acting as an assuming insurer; and
(B)domiciled in a state or jurisdiction other than Indiana.
