Text

(a)This section applies to an individual contract or a group contract that provides coverage for both of the following:
(1)Orally administered cancer chemotherapy.
(2)Cancer chemotherapy that is administered intravenously or by injection.
(b)As used in this section, "cancer chemotherapy" means medication that is prescribed by a physician to kill or slow the growth of cancer cells.
(c)Coverage for orally administered cancer chemotherapy under an individual contract or a group contract must not be subject to dollar limits, copayments, deductibles, or coinsurance provisions that are less favorable to an enrollee than the dollar limits, copayments, deductibles, or coinsurance provisions that apply to coverage for cancer chemotherapy that is administered intravenously or by injection under
