§ 27-10-2-9 — Property bonds; recordings; liens

(a)If the undertaking is a property bond, the clerk shall record the same in the proper records of the county. If the undertaking describes property in another county, the clerk of the trial court shall transmit the undertaking to the clerk of such other county, who shall likewise record it and return it to the first mentioned clerk.
(b)The undertaking shall be a lien on any real property described in it, until released in accordance with IC 35-33-8.5.
