§ 27-1-46-16 — Good faith estimate request from patient eligible for Medicare
Indiana·Title 27 INSURANCE·Art. 1 DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE·Ch. 46 Provider Facility Good Faith Estimates
If:
(1)a provider facility receives a request for a good faith estimate
under this chapter; and
(2)the patient is eligible for Medicare coverage;
the provider facility shall provide a good faith estimate to the patient
within two (2) business days based on available Medicare cost sharing
rates.
