§ 27-1-43-2 — "Party"
Indiana·Title 27 INSURANCE·Art. 1 DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE·Ch. 43 Electronic Delivery of Notices and Documents
(a)As used in this chapter, "party" means a
recipient of a notice or document required as part of an insurance
transaction.
(b)The term includes an applicant, an insured, a policyholder, and
an annuity contract holder.
