(a)This chapter applies beginning January 1,
2016.
(b)This chapter does not do the following:
(1)Impose corporate governance standards or internal procedures
that are not otherwise required under IC 27.
(2)Limit the commissioner's authority, or the rights and
obligations of third parties, under IC 27-1-3.1.
