Text
If:
(1)a customer consents to receive the disclosure required under
section 8 of this chapter electronically; and
(2)the disclosure is provided to the customer in a format that the
customer may retain or obtain at a later time;
the depository institution, the affiliate of a depository institution, or the
person that sells, solicits, advertises, or offers insurance on behalf of a
depository institution may provide the disclosure electronically and
may obtain from the customer acknowledgment of receipt of the
disclosure electronically.
