9.
(a)As used in this chapter, except as
provided in subsection (b), "health care provider" means an individual
who holds a license issued by a board described in IC 25-0.5-11.
(b)The term does not include the following:
(1)A dentist licensed under IC 25-14.
(2)An optometrist licensed under IC 25-24.
(3)A veterinarian licensed under IC 25-38.1.
