7. (a) This section does not apply to the
following:
(1) A state employee health plan (as defined in IC 5-10-8-6.7(a)).
(2) The Medicaid program.
(b) A utilization review entity may not require prior authorization
for the first twelve (12):
(1) physical therapy; or
(2) chiropractic;
visits of each new episode of care.
