5.

(a)As used in this section, "confidential information" means information that has been designated as confidential by statute, rule, or regulation issued under a statute.
(b)The commissioner may not:
(1)disclose; or
(2)subject to subpoena; financial information regarding material transactions disclosed by an insurer under IC 27-2-18.
(c)The commissioner may not disclose any information, including any document or report received from:
(1)the National Association of Insurance Commissioners; or
(2)an insurance department of another state; if the information is designated as confidential information in the other jurisdiction.
(d)The commissioner may share confidential information with:
(1)the National Association of Insurance Commissioners; or
(2)an insurance department of another
