Text

(a)A contract between a public adjuster and an insured is voidable at the option of the insured at any time not more than three (3) business days after the day on which the insurer is provided a copy of the contract under section 13(a)(2) of this chapter.
(b)An insured may void a contract with a public adjuster by notifying the public adjuster in writing of the insured's decision to void the contract. The written notification must be transmitted to the public adjuster by:
(1)registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, sent to the address of the public adjuster shown on the contract;
(2)personally serving the notice on the public adjuster; or
(3)sending an electronic mail to the public adjuster at the electronic mail address shown on the contract.
