Text

(a)A policy filed with the department must be accompanied by a certificate signed by an officer of the insurer stating that:
(1)the policy meets the minimum reading ease score on the test used; or
(2)the score for the policy is lower than the minimum required but should be approved in accordance with section 9 of this chapter.
(b)To confirm the accuracy of a certification under subsection (a), the commissioner may require the submission of additional information to verify the certification. As added by Acts 1981, P.L.245, SEC.1.
