1.

(a)As used in this section, "armed forces" means the active and reserve components of the following:
(1)The United States Army.
(2)The United States Navy.
(3)The United States Air Force.
(4)The United States Marine Corps.
(5)The United States Space Force.
(6)The United States Coast Guard.
(7)The Indiana National Guard.
(b)As used in this section, "motor vehicle insurance" means any type of insurance described in IC 27-1-5-1, Class 2(f).
(c)As used in this chapter, "rating plan" means the rating schedule or rating plan of an insurer:
(1)concerning premium rates for motor vehicle insurance;
(2)that has been filed with the commissioner; and
(3)that is in effect under section 4 of this chapter.
(d)An insurer that issues or renews a policy of motor vehicle insurance may not set
