§ 27-1-2-2 — Application of article

This article shall be applicable to all persons, firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, orders, societies, and systems and to associations operating as Lloyds, interinsurers, or individual underwriters authorized as of March 8, 1935, to make insurance under the provisions of any statute enacted prior to March 8, 1935, or organized or incorporated before or after March 8, 1935, under the provisions of any statute of this state, or which are doing or attempting to do, or which are representing that they are doing an insurance business in this state, or which are in process of organization for the purpose of doing or attempting to do such business.
