Text
The articles of reorganization shall be
presented to the department, accompanied by a certified copy of the
resolution of the board of directors adopting and approving the same,
signed by the president and secretary of the company. The department
may approve or disapprove the articles of reorganization, in the same
manner as provided in IC 27-1-6-8. In the event the department
approves the articles of reorganization as provided, it shall then submit
them to the attorney general for the state of Indiana, who shall examine
such articles and endorse his approval thereon and return them to the
department in the same manner as provided in IC 27-1-6-9. When the
articles of reorganization have been approved by the attorney general
and returned to the department, the department shall present them
