Indiana Statutes
§ 25-8-14-6 — Practice or attending school while diseased; offenses
(a)A person who:
(1)is a cosmetologist, a manicurist, an electrologist, an
esthetician, a barber, or an instructor; and
(2)knowingly performs any act authorized by a license issued
under this article while the person has an infectious, a contagious,
or a communicable disease that has been epidemiologically
demonstrated to be transmitted through casual contact;
commits a Class C infraction.
(b)A person who knowingly attends a beauty culture school as a
student while the person has an infectious, a contagious, or a
communicable disease that has been epidemiologically demonstrated
to be transmitted through casual contact commits a Class C infraction.
